New Cabinet MEDUSA ES
record-low energy consumption

The new aerodynamics of a cabinet Medusa ES is based on applying the double air curtain implanted into the design of a standard cabinet. The additional effect is achieved through the new construction of the evaporator with increased heat transfer coefficient and reduced hydraulic resistance of the refrigerant. The boiling temperature in the evaporator is from -5 to -7°Ñ.
Cabinets with a double air curtain are more expensive, however together with the refrigeration system of a lower capacity the price in total is cheaper. For this reason Medusa in its standard version is now produced only with the double air curtain, whereas the previous model is out of production. At the mean time we are changing the documentation for all the range of Medusa cabinets.
Cabinets Medusa Mega with vertical evaporator and Medusa Standard are already set for the serial production. The modified cabinet Medusa Optima is being tested and getting ready for production.

When selecting a unit or a multisystem the hydraulic resistance of the pipelines which connect the unit with the cabinet in the direction of increasing capacity of the compressor must be taken into account.
When selecting a cooling system with multiple points of connection, the lower coefficient of working time especially in supermarkets with a large number of equipment, which further reduces the installed capacity of compressor and condenser size should be considered.

- Refrigerated display cases, «Medusa» production «Aisberg» Ltd. were tested in the shop «Magnet» in the city of Krasnodar. Testing was conducted in accordance with technical requirements of our company, including of energy consumption and technology of showcases design to minimize labor costs when assembling cabinets. The testing confirmed that the equipment technical requirements and specifications are same like declared by manufacturer.

– When equipped a supermarket «Furshet» in Cherkassy in April 2011 originally was set the task of maximal energy-saving. This is due to the fact that the limit provided by a regional energy company has been fairly limited. The company "Aisberg" has offered us a comprehensive solution to reduce energy consumption at the facility, while maintaining all the required food storage and operating parameters of the equipment. In particular for the first time in our distribution network we have established refrigerated displays «Medusa ES», constructed with a number of technical solutions to ensure energy efficiency: energy efficient fans, the lower bumper with glass shield and double air curtain, which allows to minimize the loosing of cold. Using refrigerated displays «Medusa ES» production of «Aisberg» has provided us to reduce energy consumption up to 25% compared with conventional models. Since electric power refrigeration unit needed to connect to our Cherkassy supermarket with Medusa Standard, is 12.36 kW. And the option for Medusa ES - 8,126 kW.
