DESCRIPTION
Refrigeration cabinets range with forced refrigeration system for vertical presentation and selling in the self-service stores.
Cabinets have been designed to be connected to the remote refrigeration unit.
Medusa cabinets have the innovative design, increased surface for the efficient use of the floor space and maximum efficient sale of products.
Cabinet structure is adapted to the Ukrainian market operation conditions,
Modularity: 1875, 2110, 2500, 3750 mm.
T his modularity permits to assemble different length runs.
Medusa cabinet height has been calculated with reference to an average Ukrainian height in order to provide better visibility of the goods placed on the upper shelves and to make these goods easily accessible both to customers and supermarket personnel.
Plastic parts, insulated side-panels and doors are manufactured by Italian manufacturers as per Aisberg design.
Medusa refrigerating cabinet is covered by patent No. 10396 for production piece “Medusa refrigeration cabinet (modifications)”, published in the “Industrial Property” 15.06.2005, bulletin no. 6.).
Method of continuous air cooling in the normal temperature refrigeration cabinets and air-coolers (modifications)” is covered by patent No. 77925, published in the “Industrial Property” 15.01.2007 bulletin No. 1.
Wavyness of lines, free flow of forms, lightness of structure – this is the ideology of Medusa cabinet design. This theme is announced in the cabinet name and is continued is the forms of side-panels and bumpers where grey plastic wave goes with transparent glass. Design of the cabinets has been developed by company Aisberg.
Medusa refrigerating cabinets range with forced refrigeration system have been designed for vertical presentation and sale of dairy products, meat and meat convenience food, pastry products, fruit and vegetables, beverages.
Electronic control device and increased evaporator surface allow set up the optimal temperature condition for each kind of food.
- MEDUSA MT - for meat, fish and convenience food, temperature condition -1/+4oC;
- MEDUSA SL - for dairy products, pastry and beverages, temperature condition +2/+6oC;
- MEDUSA FV – for fruit and vegetables, temperature condition +6/+10oC.
There are three main modifications of Medusa cabinets:
FINISHING
For the purpose of the most efficient foodstuffs presentation and sale Medusa special temperature and colour spectrum versions have been developed in accordance with the foodstuffs exposed. It is recommended to choose the colour which helps to present food in the best way:
- for dairy products and beverages: white finishing, colour profiles and price-holders (colour upon request)
- for pastry: temperature beige finishing, goldish anodized aluminium profiles and price-holders
- for fruit and vegetables: green finishing, goldish anodized aluminium profiles and price-holders
- for meat, sausages and prepared meat: black finishing, silvery anodized aluminium profiles and price-holders
- for fish and other products containing aggressive saline components, products in metal and glass containers: stainless steel finishing, silvery anodized aluminium profiles and price-holders
By request profiles, price-holders and decorative panels of the cabinet may be painted in any colour.
LIGHTING
Medusa upper lighting is located in the frontal part of the cabinet and lights up all the products exposed.
Medusa lower panel lighting allows to emphasize the vertical cabinets run in the supermarket and to attract attention of customers. Lighting of the cabinet lower panel is an option.
There is one more option of lighting up all rows of shelves in the cabinet. It’s recommended to use special spectrum lamps for colored versions of Medusa cabinet. The light of these lamps reflected by the food makes the exposition more bright, clear and rich. And at the same time it doesn’t alter the real appearance and color of food.
STRUCTURE
Glass insert shape of the standard panoramic side-panel makes the exposed products more visible. Upon the customer’s request it is possible to use a black-out glass with image effect.
If the cabinet is to be installed between the columns or between the walls it is possible to use side-panels without glass inserts. In this case in order to increase the food visibility the side panels with the internal mirror insert may be used.
Upon the special request Medusa cabinets may be supplied with side panels made of black plastic. Insulated dividers of the special design can be installed in the run between the modules with different temperature conditions. Lower bumper protecting the air intake grid is reinforced with the special profile.
It also protects the cabinet from the strikes of trolleys. Wide lower panel considerably improves air curtain quality and minimize cold air escape.
