BOCHKA

REFRIGERATED CABINET FOR PICKLES
«BOCHKA»

The combination of advanced technologies and national traditions

«Bochka» is a refrigerated display case developed by «Asiberg» specially for the sale of pickles in supermarkets.
The finishing is made of oak.
Inner tank is made of stainless steel.
   Built-in unit.
Wooden “house” is the efficient solution for organisation of pickles selling zone.

THE IDEA OF «BOCHKA» CABINET
Slavic cuisine has always been famous for its pickles. It’s known that since the twelfth century Russian have been making pickled cucumbers and sauerkraut. Nowadays sauerkraut, pickled cucumbers and other vegetables have great success and are served up everywhere.
By tradition, picked fruit and vegetables have always been made, kept and sold in barrels. Customers got used to this very combination of geometry and design of a display. It was not energetically efficient to keep necessary temperature conditions by putting barrel with pickles into refrigerator. It was neither convenient to sell pickles and to use a display.

Placing the compressor inside of the bochka, creation of a cooled sealed stainless tanks for pickles, while maintaining traditional design - this is a new technical solution company “Aisberg”. Built-in cooling unit allows to install “Bochka” in the existing store at no additional cost, and the temperature is ideal for the implementation of pickles and pickled products.

USING THE CABINET
IN DIFFERENT TRADE FORMS
Using Bochka in your shop, you can make an exposition of varied pickles to sell them both with a shop assistant help and in self-service mode. Self-service area can be designed in accordance with store interiors design.

There is no necessity to connect new display to water mains, drain system or central cooling system. Therefore, new displays can be located ore moved to any part of the store depending on season or promotional activity.

Mr Sergey Siromolotov, directorate specialist of development, supermarket chain «Green», Kazakhstan:

     - «Bochka» cabinets are working in our stores for more then 6 months already. This is a very interesting solution, which allows to present pickles traditionally from tubs, and at the same time to provide the refrigeration for products according to all sanitary requirements. Using «Bochka» cabinets in our supermarkets creates efficient exposition in our supermarkets, which is very attracted by customers. It is very useful that «Bochka» has independent cooling system – this allows to place the section of pickles in any trading point of the supermarket.

Mr Nikolai Starodubtsev, the manager of technical department, «BILLA-Ukraine»:

     - The employees of our supermarket are satisfied with the operation of refrigerated cabinets «Bochka». Customers are always grateful for a wide range of pickles and marinades, we really like the unusual and yet very intuitive for our customers' approach to storage and sale of this group of products. Refrigerated cabinets «Bochka» are certainly one of the elements to attract customers. Many customers consider the hallmark of «BILLA» stores in southern Ukraine.

Mr Yuri Zvizdovskiy, the head of procurement of equipment, hypermarket chain «real,-», Ukraine:

     - We have acquired ten refrigerated cabonets «Bochka» for pickles. This group of products is always highly-demanded among our customers. Display cases work in our hypermarket for almost a year, and we consider them sufficiently effective both in terms of cooling quality and organizing the sale of goods.

Mr Andrey Grishin, technical director of trade chain «Velyka Kyshenia», Ukraine:

     - We liked the «Bochka» from the first sight and the first refrigerator we took straight from the exhibition «MaRGo»». Since then we continue to equip with them almost all of our supermarkets. The demand for a variety of pickles in Ukraine is high and «Bochka» complete with a wooden house attracts a lot of attention in the supermarket.

Mr Pavel Ruban, vice director of a supermarket chain «Kopeyka», Ukraine:

     - I find very interesting an island solution to sale pickles. The marked area in the trading hall in form of barrels under the canopy is always an active interest for customers. Firstly we have instalated this composition in our store on Ilf and Petrov str. in Odessa. The result was increasing consumption of pickles in several times comparing to other stores of a network.
