REFRIGERATION UNITS
Compressor
A modern and high performance range of semi-hermetic compressors suitable for applications in refrigeration.
Compressors of any manufacturer can be installed.
Fan
Fans are used for compressor heads cooing in low temperature units
Liquid separator/trap
Liquid separator/trap is used in low temperature units and is placed on suction line before compressor. This trap prevents compressor valves breakage that may happen when liquid refrigerant enters into cylinder head.
Liquid receiver
Liquid receiver is intended to accumulate liquid refrigerant. This receiver is equipped with sight holes indicating liquid refrigerant level.
It’s extremely important to make right calculation of liquid receiver capacity, taking in consideration condenser output during winter season.
Refrigerant discharge valve
Refrigerant discharge valve is installed in appropriate place on liquid receiver. The valve is intended for discharge of refrigerant excess when its pressure overcomes allowed values.
Oil separator
Oil separator follows discharge header and is intended for separation of oil residues and refrigerant.
Oil receiver with pressure control valve
Oil receiver is intended for accumulation of oil separated in oil separator.
Oil receiver is connected to compressor crankcase by means of oil collector and oil level regulator and to suction line through pressure control valve. Pressure control valve is used to maintain/keep receiver pressure level 0,4-0,5MPa higher than crankcase pressure level to ensure oil return to crankcase.
Electronic oil level regulatorr
Electronic oil level regulator (OM type or analogous) maintains optimal oil level in compressor by switching on/off solenoid valve that feeds oil from oil receiver to crankcase. There are LEDs indicating oil level in the crankcase on the level regulator control panel. Oil level regulator is connected to oil receiver through oil collector.
Refrigerant mechanic filter with removable solid cartridge on suction line
This filter is installed on suction line before suction collector. Solid cartridge represents a sieve to protect compressors from foreign particles and scalpings that may come from refrigerant circuit.
Refrigerant filter-dryer with removable solid cartridge on injection line
Filter-dryer is located on liquid line after liquid receiver. Filter core is made from a special material called “molecular sieve”. This core has high water absorbing capacity and is also able to absorb acids generated during compressor motor functioning.
Oil filter
Oil filter is installed after oil receiver on oil return line to crankcase.
Check valve
Check valve is installed between compressor and discharge header to prevent hot vapors coming from running compressor into a cylinder head of stopped compressor.
Manometer
Manometer shows pressure in suction and discharge lines of the unit and is located next to control panel for best visibility.
Dual pressure alarm relay
Double pressure alarm relay is connected to suction and discharge lines to cut off a unit in case of high condensing pressure alarm or low suction pressure alarm.
Differential pressure control relay
Lubrication control relay is installed in case of application of Bitzer compressors with incorporated oil pump. This relay is used to cut off compressor in case of oil pressure failing (oil pump breakage) to prevent compressor pistons seizure.
Ball check valve
Ball check valves (with on-off and bilateral functions) provide minimal outer leakage, maximum flow at full-opened valve and cross-flow avoidance at closed valve.
Manual check valve
Manual check valves are installed in liquid and suction lines and also oil supply line from oil receiver to compressors. These valves are fitted with 3 s/s diaphragms for leakage prevention during valves operation life.
Sight hole – humidity indicator
Sight hole is intended for visual detection of vapor blebs in liquid refrigerant and also has a special indicator. This indicator colour shows humidity content in refrigerant.
Control panel
Control panel is intended used to control and adjust refrigeration unit and air condenser units. There are automatic and manual modes of operation.
Control panel components:
- electronic control device COPS intended for compressors operation control and keeping up refrigeration unit capacity by switching compressors on/off in dependence of evaporation pressure (PGT-8 probe defined);
- electronic control device COPC intended for air condenser fans operation control in order to maintain optimal condensation pressure by switching fans on/off in dependence of condensation pressure (PGT-30 probe defined);
- PGT-8 and PGT-30 probes are installed correspondingly on suction and discharging collectors. These probes are registration devices that transfer information about pressure values to control devices COPS and COPC;
- Relay unit KRM controls condenser’s compressors and fans operation in accordance with data received from COPS and COPC devices;
- phase-balance relay prevents refrigeration unit from excessive tension variation, phase loss or breakage. This phase-balance relays provide possibility of turn-on delay and percentage of voltage variation comparatively to a nominal one;
- LEDs indicators of compressors and air condenser’s fan operation and alarms;
- Main on/off switch for refrigeration unit connection or disconnection to/from the mains. Main on/off switch construction prevents from control panel opening when it is alive.
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
Condensation pressure regulator
Regulator and valves type depends on refrigeration unit capacity.
This system provides optimal condensation pressure during winter season. This method consists in filling air condenser with liquid refrigerant.
Condensation pressure regulator is a system composed of the following components:
- pressure regulator KVR with check valve NRVH;
- pressure regulator ICS with pilot-operated valve CVP and check valve NRVA;
- differential valve NRD, intended for keeping up constant pressure in liquid receiver).
Receiver refrigerant level detector
Receiver refrigerant level detector detects liquid refrigerant level in liquid receiver.
Vibration absorber
Vibration absorber provides vibration reduction which is transmitted from compressor to pipelines, especially in the moments when compressor starts and stops.
Lamellar heat exchanger
Lamellar heat exchanger provides heat carrier heating by hot refrigerant. It is used in heat recovery and defrost system .
