The principle of operation of this system is the following – heated liquid carrier is forwarded into a specially designed section of the evaporator. Liquid carrier is heated by the thermal energy drawn off the refrigerant.
There are no electric resistances in low temperature cabinets equipped with a new defrost system. This innovation reduces absorbed power and running costs.

Evaporator defrost system, offered by Aisberg company, turned out to be very efficient. Apart from the fact that it reduced expenses for energy consumed by defrost resistances it also reduced total power consumption and running costs. At the same time the defrost cycle itself became more efficient. Defrost cycle duration in open cabinets reduced from 30-40 minutes to 12-15 minutes. ìèíóò.
And cabinets enter into defrost cycle only once a day instead of standard 4 times. These features improves frozen food preservation. New defrost system application expenses were paid back within less than a year. It’s a very good result. |

Owing to this innovation, defrost cycles go without energy consumption. And periods between the defrost cycles became longer and the defrost cycles themselves became shorter. It positively affects the frozen food preservation quality. Moreover we do not need any more so powerful electric mains because we do not suffer peak loadings during defrost cycles. And there is one more advantage – great savings on energy consumption.
The first cabinets using new defrost system were installed in 2006 in Krasnodon. Since then we applied this system in more than 10 new supermarkets of our chain.
